APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

The APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation empowers professionals with the ability to understand and evaluate production and inventory activities within a company’s global operations. In fact, more than 112,000 professionals have earned the CPIM designation since 1973.

Ideal APICS CPIM program candidate:

  • You are seeking validation or accreditation for future career growth.

  • You have 2 or more years of experience in your field.

  • No bachelor’s degree is required.

To obtain CPIM, a candidate must pass two exams. The APICS CPIM program consists of five modules with two exams, one for Part 1 and one for Part 2. Each module reflects critical areas in production and inventory management.

In addition to self-study and instructor one-on-one tutoring, APICS Tampa Bay offers two cycles of the CPIM series on-line review courses each fiscal year:

Cycle 1:

  • CPIM-1 in October

  • CPIM-2 in January

Cycle 2:

  • CPIM-1 in April

  • CPIM-2 in July

APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)

The APICS CLTD program addresses the market need for additional training, knowledge and expertise in the expanding field of logistics and transportation. Developed in tandem with subject matter experts, the new certification will set the global standard for logistics best practices and aims to elevate knowledge and skills in logistics, transportation and distribution practitioners. The APICS CLTD designation will equip individuals and teams with essential knowledge to reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction and achieve recognition as a logistics expert.

The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (130 operational and 20 pretest). Candidates will have 3.5 hours to complete the exam. To earn the APICS CLTD certification, you must master each of the following:

In addition to self-study and Instructor one-on-one tutoring, APICS Tampa Bay offers an on-line review course for the CLTD in July of each year.
